Job Description

• Installing all residential plumbing fixtures and systems
• Repair and maintain plumbing systems by replacing washers, mending burst pipes, opening clogged drains
• Comply with federal, state, and local building and plumbing codes by enforcing adherence to requirements
• Provide plumbing information to customers by answering questions and requests
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• No on‑call rotation
• One working Saturday every 4 weeks

• Master, journeyman or tradesman license with the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation
• Clean driving record and current valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check
• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Must be able to lift and move items of 75 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces
• Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis for extended periods
• Must be able to work in cramped or high places such as attics, ladders and tunnels
• Must be able to carry heavy items up and down stairs
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions including extreme heat, rain, snow or sleet
• Must have mental skills such as critical thinking, problem solving and a technical vocabulary to understand directions and adhere to established procedures
• Must be willing to adapt well in the face of workplace stressors such as customer service complaints
• Must be able to complete a job physical assessment
