Light-Duty Diesel Technician

205 Diesel Repair in Alabaster, Alabama is seeking an experienced Light-Duty Diesel Technician to join our customer-first, blue-collar team. In this role, you'll perform in-shop and occasional mobile diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on light-duty diesel trucks and equipment for local fleets and owner-operators. You'll tackle engine, fuel, electrical, and drivetrain issues, perform routine PMs and safety inspections, and use diagnostic tools to solve tough problems.

Work alongside seasoned technicians in a fast-paced shop that values honesty, reliability, quality workmanship, and pride in keeping customers' trucks working.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair light-duty diesel trucks and equipment, including engines, fuel, and electrical systems
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and safety checks on customer fleets and equipment
• Use diagnostic tools, service information, and repair manuals to troubleshoot complex issues
• Complete accurate repair orders, document findings, and communicate clearly with service leadership
• Support mobile and in-shop service work as needed, maintaining a clean, safe work area
• Follow all safety procedures and shop policies while protecting customer equipment and data
