Position Purpose
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for accurately and safely stocking, organizing, and managing warehouse inventory, fulfilling customer orders, and supporting daily shipping and receiving of orders. This role ensures materials are handled efficiently and safely to support timely customer deliveries.
Key Responsibilities- Stock and organize products safely and accurately.
- Pull and prepare customer orders for pick‑up or delivery.
- Load and unload the delivery trucks.
- Count and verify incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Perform inventories and cycle counting duties.
- Rotate stock and report any damaged or missing items.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow company safety guidelines and procedures.
Travel Requirements:
Minimal to none; role is primarily based in the branch/warehouse.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 100 pounds; up to 50 pounds continuously throughout the workday. Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards, using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks.
Working Conditions:
Work performed in a fast paced warehouse environment in conditions like noise, hot or cold temperatures. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) will be required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 100 pounds throughout the workday.
- Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English and/or bilingual (Spanish) may be required in specific locations.
- Comfortable using basic math in daily tasks.
- Must be able to use desktop computers and handheld devices.
- Must be familiar with Distribution Software or similar order entry and inventory management software.
- Must be familiar with basic Android and Windows based software such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Must be willing to work overtime and Saturdays as needed or required based on business needs.
- Forklift experience or certification preferred (training and certification can be obtained after hire through company training).
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum ExperienceAt least 1 year of experience in a distribution, fulfillment or warehouse environment.
CertificationsForklift Certification preferred (training and certification can be obtained after hire through company training).
