Position: Care4Kids Client Services Representative

Kids Client Services Representative

Location: Rocky Hill, CT (Hybrid after training)

Schedule: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday (1‑hour lunch) and every third Thursday 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.

Pay: $20.00 per hour (plus bilingual supplement)

Role Overview: Serve as the calming, knowledgeable guide for families and providers needing assistance with the Care4

Kids program. You will handle high‑volume calls, document cases, follow eligibility guidelines, and support employers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls from Connecticut families seeking assistance to pay childcare expenses.
  • Help childcare providers with eligibility and invoice questions related to Care4

    Kids.
  • Support employers to ensure employees can benefit from the Care4

    Kids childcare subsidies.
  • Assist individuals and families by phone in connecting to childcare services and navigating the application process.
  • Document cases and follow Care4

    Kids eligibility guidelines.
  • Meet call and documentation performance goals in a fast‑paced contact center.
  • Balance empathy with efficient problem‑solving while maintaining accuracy.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED plus relevant experience.
  • Strong customer service or contact‑center experience.
  • Detail‑oriented, able to handle high call volumes and document cases.
  • Proven problem‑solving skills and a caring attitude.
  • Bilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) preferred; bilingual candidates receive a $0.75 per hour supplement, $1.50 per hour if proficient in both.
Schedule & Environment
  • Full‑time position.
  • Hybrid after training: 4 days remote, 1 in‑office.
  • Training:
    Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. (30‑minute lunch).
