The assignment is located at a large hospital and medical center that serves as part of an extensive health system. This Level I Trauma facility maintains comprehensive hematology and oncology services with advanced capabilities.

Connecticut offers diverse attractions including museums, casinos, and outdoor recreation opportunities. The state provides year-round activities such as rock climbing, cross-country sports, and winter recreation throughout the region.

The position requires board‑certified hematologist/oncologists to provide comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings. Clinicians will handle 80% hematology and 20% oncology cases with no internal medicine requirements. The role involves managing 0‑2 new consults daily and requires prescriptive authority with infrequent call coverage. Coverage is needed due to a leave of absence at a Level I Trauma facility.
