As a Resident Engineer in HDR's Field Services team, you will perform complex construction assignments, exercise judgment in evaluating, selecting, and modifying standard construction engineering techniques, coordinate project fields, manage documentation, monitor costs, handle bidding and scheduling, and manage RFIs, submittals, and other required data.
Responsibilities- Perform complex construction assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard construction engineering techniques and procedures
- Conduct project field coordination, documentation, cost monitoring, bidding and scheduling
- Receive, issue and track RFIs, submittals and other required data
- Perform other duties as needed
- A minimum of 10 years experience in construction engineering
- Local candidates preferred
- CCM designation
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field
- Previous construction engineering experience
- Professional engineering license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
- Experience using Microsoft Office, Estimating & CPM Scheduling Software, and web-based document collaboration software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Expected compensation:
Connecticut: $90,706 - $129,580
