• Be an integral part of our WORLD CLASS RAIL DESIGN group
• Develop overhead catenary systems layout drawings, profiles, hanger tabulations, erection diagrams and technical specifications
• Perform quality control reviews and design checks of railroad projects
• Lead major tasks
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state & local regulations for Overhead Catenary System (OCS)
• Serve as a project manager on mid‑large size projects
• Coordinate the team and provide technical expertise for mid‑large size projects
• Lead technical client relationships related to design, construction and phasing of the work
• Coordinate with multiple departments related to a project's scope of work
• Mentor staff to develop a team to support work throughout New England and beyond
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships

• BA/BS in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field plus 8 years of related experience or equivalent education and experience
• Professional Engineer (PE)
• Valid US Driver’s License required to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices; must pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review

• 10 years’ experience in railway systems (Overhead Catenary Systems/Traction Power)
• 6 years of related experience in railway systems — overhead catenary, traction power, track
• Experience with AutoCAD, Microstation, GEOPAK, Open Roads or Open Rail
• Experience working with Connecticut Department of Transportation, Metro‑North Railroad, Amtrak, MBTA, or other passenger/commuter railroad agencies
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent written and communication skills
• Relocation assistance is not available for this role

• Attend an in‑person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
