Position: Regulatory Affairs Specialist – SDS & Chemical Compliance (TSCA/DSL)

Our client, a global leader in industrial and consumer chemicals
, is seeking a Regulatory Affairs Specialist - SDS & Chemical Compliance (TSCA/DSL, SAP) to join their team. As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you will be part of the Regulatory Affairs / Product Safety Department supporting Product Stewardship and Compliance teams
. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and excellent communication skills
, which will align successfully in the organization.

Regulatory Affairs Specialist - SDS & Chemical Compliance (1-year contract)

Location:

Madison Heights, MI

Pay Range:

$26.00/hr

What's the Job?
  • Prepare and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and product labels in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations for industrial chemical products
  • Conduct safety and regulatory assessments for chemical materials and formulations
  • Support product lifecycle compliance, including transportation, handling, and disposal considerations
  • Monitor and interpret regulatory and toxicological updates impacting product compliance
What's Needed?
  • Experience with SDS authoring and regulatory labeling
  • Knowledge of TSCA, DSL, or similar chemical regulatory frameworks
  • Experience working with industrial chemicals or chemical formulations
  • Familiarity with SAP or similar data/documentation systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret regulatory requirements
