Weston & Sampson is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager with 10-15 years of experience in hydraulics and drainage design to work with our Rocky Hill, CT team.
What you’ll do:- Mentor Junior Engineers and/or assist Team leaders with engineering work.
- Prepare studies, design plans, specifications and other contract documents for public bidding and to meet client deliverables.
- Lead a variety of hydraulics & drainage related projects from a technical and financial perspective and oversee the work of support staff.
- Manage projects and communication with clients, review and permitting agencies, and other disciplines.
- Prepare scope and fee for projects and proposals.
- Peer review services of designs prepared by others.
- Support other disciplines and the external client base.
- Plan the team's workload, manage the budget, prepare proposals and interact with clients.
- BS in Civil Engineering (required).
- MS in Civil Engineering (plus).
- Licensed Professional Engineer Registration in CT (required).
- Licensed Professional Engineer Registration in other states and Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification (plus).
- Experience with storm drainage, stream restoration, bridge/culvert replacement, flood control and dams.
- Experience with hydrologic, hydraulic and storm drainage modeling software.
- Experience with MS4, CTDEEP, ACOE and FEMA permitting (plus).
- Experience with low impact development, resiliency and sustainability (plus).
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, project management and time‑management skills.
- Involvement with professional organizations (plus).

Pay Range: $105,100‑$165,010 depending on experience
