SENIOR TAX ACCOUNTANT (CPA/EA)

Position Summary:Prepare and review tax returns while developing tax and financial strategies within a Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) practice. This role combines technical tax expertise with wealth management coordination in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and review individual, fiduciary, exempt, corporate, and partnership tax returns in compliance with federal and state laws
- Calculate and prepare estimated federal and state tax payments for individuals and businesses
- Develop and implement tax and financial strategies for clients
- Communicate with clients and staff to ensure timely delivery of financial statement reviews focused on tax compliance and profit maximization
- Interpret, investigate, and respond to IRS and state tax agency correspondence
- Maintain current knowledge of tax law changes and business environment trends
- CPA or EA highly preferred
- 5+ years experience preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns
- Tax planning and wealth management coordination experience
- Client-facing experience with excellent communication and customer service skills
- RIA industry experience preferred
- Proficient in tax software (Lacerte, Tax Dome, Sure Prep preferred), Quick Books, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong team collaboration skills
- Supervisory experience a plus; desire to grow into leadership role
