RN; Pre-Op​/PACU

Responsibilities

• Pre-op- admitting patients, starting IVs, verifying consents and medical clearances are in place
• PACU
  - Receiving patients from the Operating Room into recovery, assessing vital signs, pain levels, patient education, discontinuing IVs
• Transporting patients to and from the Operating and out of the facility via stretchers and wheelchairs
• Both positions would require using our computer EHR system which is SIS Charts (surgery center EHR)

• Active CT RN license
• BLS & ACLS
• Knowledge of aseptic technique, anesthetic agents and complication

Monday - Thursday

6:30am - 4:30pm
