Laboratory Technician

Our client, a global leader in adhesives, sealants, and material technologies, is seeking a laboratory technician to join their team. As a laboratory technician, you will be part of the product testing and development laboratory supporting scientists, engineers, and R&D teams. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong safety mindset, and excellent organizational skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:

Laboratory Technician (1-Year Contract)

Location:

Rocky Hill, CT

Pay Range: $22.00 per hour

What's the Job?

  • Dispense adhesives, bond components, and perform testing of bond strength and physical properties.
  • Evaluate, collect, and accurately record laboratory and testing data.
  • Organize and perform experiments using established procedures and document results in laboratory notebooks.
  • Operate laboratory equipment, measuring devices, and computer systems for data entry, charts, and reporting.
  • Follow laboratory safety, quality standards, SOPs, and ISO 17025:2017 requirements while working with chemicals and testing equipment.

What's Needed?

  • Experience working in a laboratory, manufacturing, quality control, or technical environment.
  • Ability to accurately document testing results and maintain detailed records.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality procedures.
  • Comfortable using computers for data entry, charts, tables, and reporting.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
