What you'll be doing:Busy Truck Shop in need of a Shop Helper/Apprentice who is looking to learn about Fire Apparatus from our skilled Mechanics while helping with the following:
- Running Parts
- Pick up and Drop off of Trucks
- General shop maintenance (sweeping, taking out trash, changing light bulbs, etc.)
- Assisting mechanics as needed
In order to be successful in this position you must come with a positive attitude and ability to work independently and in a team environment while demonstrating safe work habits
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Must be a hard worker and dependable
- Valid CDL preferred but not required
