Warehouse Selector

Job Summary

As a Selector, you will properly, efficiently, and accurately pick product to build pallets for our clubs. Our perishable distribution centers are temperature controlled, ranging from 30°F in the cooler to
-20°F in the freezer. Selectors typically lift between 50‑100 lbs of product and operate powered equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks.

• Select damage‑free product to build pallets accurately, ensuring labels face out and arrows face up.
• Verify product against pick tickets and case labels, and complete legible, accurate paperwork.
• Maintain productivity at the 100% standard and accuracy at the 99.9% standard.
• Check pallet condition and replace as necessary.
• Report damage and inventory discrepancies to supervisor promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and repair of dock and facility areas.
• Assist in wrapping and stacking pallets for safe transport to storage.
• Safely operate material handling equipment after training.
• Maintain all food safety, housekeeping, and applicable standards.
• Ensure regular and consistent attendance.

• Preferred experience in a warehouse setting and operating material handling equipment.
• Consistent attendance required.
• Four‑day work week (three weekdays and one weekend day), starting at 8AM and ending when tasks are completed.
• Work in cold storage warehouse with temperatures as low as
  -20°F; lift 50lbs frequently and 100lbs occasionally.
• Prioritize safety at all times.
• High school diploma or GED required; college coursework or technical education is a plus.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, basic math skills, and ability to follow directions using a headset selection system (e.g., Vo Collect).
• Willingness to accommodate flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, and work while wearing appropriate PPE (steel‑toed footwear, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, insulating clothing).
• Endurance for continuous, fast‑paced work in fluctuating temperatures.

Starting at $22/hr with additional pay based on performance. Openings on various days, all with 8AM start time.
