Inventory Control​/Experienced Warehouse Associate

Job Summary

As an Inventory Control Specialist in the warehouse, you will be responsible for accurately maintaining, tracking, and reporting physical inventory. Acting as a liaison between internal and external customers, you will ensure the accuracy of physical inventory and fiscal accounting.

Pay: $21.50/hour

Schedule:

Full-time, 4 days/week, 10-hour shifts

Shift: 7:00 PM – 5:30 AM or until work is completed

• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) data to ensure efficient and proper inventory control.
• Identify and address quality control issues to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in all inventory functions and programs.
• Check and exchange pallets as needed, reporting any damage or discrepancies promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and repair of the dock and facility areas.
• Wrap and stack pallets for safe storage and transport.
• Safely operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) after training.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, housekeeping, and other relevant standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned to maintain inventory accuracy and efficiency.

• Prior experience in a warehouse setting preferred.
• Familiarity with operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems is a plus.
• Ability to operate and learn to operate various technology including computers and tablets.
• High school diploma or GED required; additional education or relevant experience is preferred.
• Basic math skills necessary for proper counting and verification of pallet .
• Attention to detail and accuracy in all inventory-related tasks.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Ability to independently lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally.
• Regularly engage in sitting, standing, walking, bending, and squatting in a refrigerated warehouse setting.
• Perform tasks such as grasping, reaching, pushing, or pulling on a frequent basis.
• Endurance for continuous and fast-paced work activities.
• Adherence to necessary safety protocols, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed footwear, gloves, safety glasses, etc.
