The City of Rocky Mount is seeking an Accountant specialized in revenue accounting to maintain revenue ledgers, post journal entries, and perform reconciliations in accordance with GAAP and GASB guidelines.
Under the supervision of the Revenue & Debt Supervisor, you will support monthly closures, prepare audit work papers, and contribute to process improvements while ensuring accuracy in property tax and miscellaneous billings for City revenues.
