* Job Description:

** Assist in leading, directing and overseeing the safe and effective daily operation of a single project or in a supporting project management role on larger more complex projects. Help establish project objectives and policies, maintain liaison with prime clients and monitor construction and financial activities. Act as needed to ensure project goals, objectives and initiatives are met in alignment with the mission, vision and values of Barnhill Contracting Company.

Duties & Responsibilities:

*** Assist all project teams with tracking quantities as well as material ordering and inventory control. Responsible for acquiring all quantities from all project teams including subcontractors and reconciling with owner’s representatives daily**.
** As needed, work with/on crews to expedite mission critical needs.
* Collaborate with project team to ensure implementation and maintenance of safe working conditions, and to ensure personnel are working to their highest efficiency to meet project, equipment, operating division productivity, budget and profitability goals. Work with Senior project leadership with high level reporting of cost and profitability.
* Assist with project schedules, material procurement, subcontractors, resources and project documentation.  Assist with GPS machine control and layout.
* Promote and support good internal and external relationships throughout all divisions and departments of Barnhill Contracting Company, with clients and the public.
* Promote a safe working environment by example and enforcement. Proficient in all safety and regulatory requirements (including, but not limited to, OSHA, MSHA, Environmental, Employment).
** Minimum Qualifications & Training:**
* ** Education Level:
** Associate or bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of training and work experience preferred.
* ** Education Major:
** Construction Management or Civil Engineering preferred but not required.

* ** Required License/Certification:
** NC Driver License, agree to pursue OSHA 10-hour, MSHA, EEO, Trenching and Excavation, Erosion Control – Level II Certification
