Ballet Teacher – Part Time

At The Barre Dance Academy

Located in Rocky Mount, NC (around 45 minutes away from Raleigh, NC)

We are searching for a dedicated and experienced Ballet Teacher to inspire and guide young dancers on their ballet journey. We seek a passionate individual with a strong ballet background and the ability to connect with students of all ages and skill levels.

Weeknights in the evening (4-5 hours weekly)

• Teach ballet classes to students of varying ages and skill levels.
• Inspire and motivate students through engaging and effective instruction.
• Create choreography for recital dances for recreational classes.
• Develop a strong ballet program for both recreational and competitive dancers.
• Provide strong dance technique training for students starting as young as 4 years old.
• Work with children with minimal existing ballet training and help them progress.

• Strong ballet training and background.
• Experience working with children and a passion for teaching.
• Ability to inspire and connect with students.
• Experience choreographing recital dances.
• Ability to work with varying skill levels and ages.
• Bonus if qualified to teach pointe.
