Job Summary
Assists with the development of all aspects of control systems, equipment, and machinery.

- Strengthen equipment performance by reviewing, specifying, and approving controls hardware and software that elevate system reliability and manufacturing capability.
- Implement advanced networking solutions that connect machines, processes, and data systems to improve visibility, traceability, and operational optimization.
- Identify and mitigate controls‑related hazards—electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic—ensuring safe machine operation and reducing risk across the production environment.
- Develop and validate secure controls architectures to protect equipment and data from emerging threats.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical control issues quickly and accurately, minimizing downtime and restoring equipment to optimal operating condition.
- Ability to work effectively during 2nd and 3rd shift hours, maintaining strong communication and coordination with daytime teams.
- Foundational skills in designing and developing control systems, running bench tests, modifying software and equipment, and ensuring sensors and actuators perform to specification.
- Capacity to investigate issues, develop solution plans, support debugging activities, and contribute to cost estimates and appropriation requests with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Willingness and capability to assist with installation, troubleshooting, and technical support of PLC‑based hardware and software in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
College, university, or degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
ExperienceBasic level of relevant experience required.
