Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer

Akkodis is seeking a Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer for a Contract with a client in Rocky Mount, NC. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and tests mechanical components while supporting repair development, documentation, and yield improvement initiatives for critical product lines.

Rate Range: $55/hour to $60/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr Advanced Mechanical Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

• Design, develop, and test mechanical components, equipment, and systems to meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Review and research repair development technical requirements, including processes, procedures, and techniques.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to materials, tools, equipment, and technical documentation.
• Support yield improvement initiatives by analyzing data and contributing to solutions for TAT reduction and FPY improvement.
• Develop and maintain overhaul repair instructions, technical inspection guidelines, and process documentation.
• Provide technical support and oversight to suppliers and assist in integrating approved solutions into engineering and production processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering field.
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in mechanical design, repair development, or aerospace engineering.
• Strong experience in developing and documenting repair processes, technical instructions, and compliance-related activities.
• Proven ability to support yield improvement initiatives, including TAT reduction, FPY improvement, and supplier technical oversight.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $60.00 per hour
