Job Overview
As a Test Engineer I – Electronics at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products through effective test engineering practices. You will assist in the maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementation of test equipment supporting testing activities for assigned projects, working closely with cross‑functional teams to define test requirements and specifications.
In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of test plans and procedures, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality. You will also help build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.
Responsibilities- Assist in the development and execution of electronic test equipment strategies and plans.
- Support the design and implementation of electronic test equipment methodologies and procedures.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define electronic test equipment requirements and specifications.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
- 1 year of experience in test engineering or a related field.
- Experience with circuit board troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of test methodologies and tools.
- Experience with basic Microsoft tools.
- Troubleshooting skills involving computers, computer cards, and electronic equipment.
- Advanced engineering degrees such as ME, EE, MET or EET.
- Experience in a manufacturing or product development environment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Continuous learning mindset and adaptability to new technologies.
