The Utility Associate performs a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties while assisting with the preparation of food items as instructed.

• Perform cleaning and organizing activities, including but not limited to: scraping, stacking and loading pots, pans, dishes, trays, silverware and glassware into dishwasher; scrubbing pots; unloading dishwasher and storing contents; cleaning counters, tables and chairs; cleaning ovens, grill, deep fat fryer and steam tables; sweeping, scrubbing and mopping floors; cleaning walls, windows and ledges; draining and cleaning dishwashing machine.
• Provide assistance to cooks as instructed, which may include washing and slicing vegetables, carving meat and portioning items, wrapping food items for serving or storage, setting up, tearing down and replenishing food lines, and gathering ingredients.
• Use safety and sanitation procedures to protect self and others.

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Food Handlers Certificate within 6 months of hire.
