As the Production Cake Decorator, you ll bring delicious desserts to life in our specialized manufacturing facility, crafting cheesecakes and layered cakes for over 200 The Cheesecake Factory restaurants and external clients.

Responsibilities

Depositing

• Crafting the Foundation
  :
  Prepare pans and inserts with precision according to trusted recipes.
• Attention to Detail
  :
  Delicately add crumbs and batter into pans, following baking instructions for each creation.
• Mixing Magic
  :
  Ensure all extra ingredients are harmoniously mixed in, per each recipe.

Topping

• Layer by Layer
  :
  Set up cake layers following guidelines for each cake type.
• Sweet Symphony
  :
  Remove cakes from pans, remove liners and collars, and follow topping instructions for each cake.
• Icing Artistry
  :
  Use depositing machines to add icing and spread, fixing cracks as needed.
• Pallet Stacking Mastery
  :
  Stack cakes on pallets for shipment.

Finishing

• Creative Flourish
  :
  Finish and decorate cakes on the production line per cake type guidelines.
• Artisan Touch
  :
  Remove cakes from pans, remove liners and collars, replace cake circles.
• Icing Elegance
  :
  Apply icing to top and sides, per specifications.
• Sensory Delight
  :
  Add side crunch and decorative toppings as appropriate.
• Quality Control
  :
  Repair or replace slices when necessary, apply shipping collars, and wrap each cake.
• Final Presentation
  :
  Pack and box cakes for delivery to The Cheesecake Factory fans worldwide.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months of previous manufacturing experience.
• Willing to work in varying temperatures, from warm to chilly and sometimes cold.
• Availability to work some weekends for possible overtime.
• Flexibility to stay longer if needed.
• Ability to lift items weighing more than 10 pounds.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and follow instructions in English.
