*** Keep reading.  Ossid is seeking a skilled Service Technician to support our customers throughout the full lifecycle of our machinery. As a subject-matter expert, you will provide both technical guidance and hands-on support for horizontal form fill and seal (HFFS) and tray sealing equipment. This role requires problem-solving, innovation, and a commitment to helping customers optimize their operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Reporting to the HFFS Product Line Manager, you will be responsible for machine assembly, factory acceptance testing (FAT), field installations, upgrades, and emergency service.

Ossid is seeking a skilled Service Technician to support our customers throughout the full lifecycle of our machinery. As a subject-matter expert, you will provide both technical guidance and hands-on support for horizontal form fill and seal (HFFS) and tray sealing equipment. This role requires problem-solving, innovation, and a commitment to helping customers optimize their operations for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Reporting to the HFFS Product Line Manager, you will be responsible for machine assembly, factory acceptance testing (FAT), field installations, upgrades, and emergency service.

*** Troubleshoot, repair, assemble, install, and integrate complex machinery, applying advanced technical knowledge and independent problem-solving.
* Ensure equipment meets inspection, testing, quality, and operational standards.
* Lead or supervise customer personnel during equipment installation, integration, and service activities.
* Diagnose and resolve equipment discrepancies.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend product enhancements.
* Interpret engineering drawings, wiring schematics, specifications, manuals, and technical instructions.
* Collaborate with Operations to resolve customer inquiries and provide timely technical support.
* Partner with Sales and Engineering to address installation, integration, and service-related issues.
* Conduct final assembly, quality testing, and shipment preparation for new equipment.
* Prepare detailed trip reports to document equipment status, service performed, and potential parts or upgrade opportunities.
