What You Will Achieve
Take responsibility for individual contributions to team deliverables, fostering a positive team environment, and representing the work group within department teams.
Manage personal time and professional development, prioritize workflow, and assist less-experienced colleagues in prioritizing their tasks.
Complete various assignments based on established procedures, identify process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and provide direction and training to team members.
Share knowledge within and across multiple work groups.
Proactively identify and resolve non-routine problems, making decisions between multiple options in a structured environment.
Work under general supervision, independently complete recurring assignments, and refer new or unusual problems to the supervisor.
Ensure non-standard work is reviewed for sound technical judgment and adhere to Pfizer standards, guidelines, and values, while training others.
Provide input on equipment installation, start-up, operation, and troubleshooting to support new product introductions into sustaining operations.
Complete tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures and batch records, using Lean Tools daily to optimize efficiency and drive Continuous Improvement and Zero Defects.
Maintain a safety-oriented, GMP-compliant work environment, train colleagues, investigate operational deviations, implement corrective actions, and seek opportunities for Continuous Improvement.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
High School Diploma or GED
4+ years of experience
Experience executing operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures, Batch Record, and Manufacturing Controls Systems
Proficiency with principles and operations of continuous centrifugation, microfiltration, ultra-filtration, cell disruption, and membrane filtration
Familiarity with Lean Tools
Excellent interpersonal skills, team orientation, attention to detail, documentation skills, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as a member of a self-directed shift team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that demands flexibility and initiative
Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements):
Bachelor s Degree
Experience in a start-up environment
Knowledge of biopharmaceutical manufacturing processes
Experience with process improvement methodologies
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Demonstrated leadership abilities
Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and processes
Familiarity and basic understanding of common AI tools and a curiosity for learning how they can be used to enhance productivity
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand for 10 to 12 hours at a time, sit for 5 to 6 hours at a time, and regularly walk long distances, climb stairs/ladders, walk on catwalks. Ability to regularly lift, up to, 50 lbs without mechanical assistance at least once a shift, and lift >50 lbs with assistance.
