Locum Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Eastern North Carolina / Hematology-Oncology Advanced Practice Provider

Highly rewarding locum oncology assignment with our client, supporting an established cancer program while providing follow‑up care for oncology and benign hematology patients. • Assignment Length: 3–6 months with anticipated 6-month contract
• Schedule: 4-day workweek
• See approximately 13–15 patients per day
• Manage follow‑up oncology visits in an outpatient setting
• Evaluate new benign hematology consults, including anemia and iron deficiency cases
• Limited infusion suite responsibilities
• Provide inbox and secure chat support when the oncologist is unavailable
• Busy but efficient practice with a standard oncology APP workflow
• Competitive compensation of $135–$140/hour
• Credentialing timeline estimated at approximately 6 weeks

• Be able to do the job as described.
• MSN or Master’s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Active North Carolina NP or PA license is required
• Experience in oncology and hematology patient management
• Comfortable evaluating benign hematology conditions including anemia and iron deficiency
• Strong communication and care coordination skills in a collaborative oncology environment
