As an Inspector - Level 4 at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of our aerospace products and services, maintaining the high standards our customers expect in the aerospace industry.
You will report directly to the Quality Assurance Manager and work out of our Distribution Center in Rocky Mount, NC on an on‑site schedule.
Your impact will involve overseeing quality assurance and control processes to ensure that products meet regulatory and safety standards, contributing to the safety and reliability of aerospace operations worldwide.
Responsibilities- Perform detailed inspections of aerospace components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
- Document inspection results and communicate findings to engineering and production teams for corrective actions.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments and testing equipment to verify product conformity.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives in quality and manufacturing processes.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements during inspection activities.
- Proven experience in aerospace inspection or a related quality assurance role with a focus on detailed product evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of aerospace industry standards, inspection techniques, and quality control processes.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
- Experience interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements relevant to aerospace manufacturing and inspection.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in aerospace inspection or quality assurance roles.
- Detail‑oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with quality management systems such as AS9100 and ISO standards.
