The City of Rocky Mount is seeking an experienced mechanic to participate in repair and maintenance of the city’s vehicle and equipment fleet, including buses. Duties include inspections, diagnosing, and performing PM and service repairs in accordance with manufacturer and FTA schedules.
The position operates on rotating shifts (1st shift 6:00am - 2:30pm and every other Saturday for 3 hours; 2nd shift 2:30pm - 10:30pm and every other Saturday).
