• Follow lesson plans provided by the absent classroom teacher to ensure continuity of education

• Effective communication in writing and orally
• Maintain punctuality and acceptable attendance record
• Adhere to the Licensure Code of Professional Conduct for Ohio Educators

• Enrollment in State Teachers Retirement System (STRS)
• No nights, weekends, or holidays; schedule aligns with regular school hours
• Consistent but flexible scheduling; choose when available
• Exposure to the education field; gain experience and insights
• Networking and professional references for future opportunities
