In-Home Caregiver

IN-HOME CAREGIVER (Weekdays & Weekends) Join a Team That Values Your Experience or Passion to Serve

Senior Helpers of West Cuyahoga & Lorain Counties is seeking experienced, compassionate caregivers!

If you're patient, dependable, and confident we'd love to have you join our team. Your experience can make a meaningful difference by helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

$16.00–$20.00 per hour
, based on experience, skills, and client care needs.

We offer a variety of shifts to fit your availability, including:

• Weekday and weekend opportunities
• Morning shifts
• Afternoon shifts
• Overnight shifts (as needed)

You'll provide personalized care tailored to each client's unique needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene
• Supporting safe mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
• Providing medication reminders
• Observing and reporting changes in symptoms or condition
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
• Offering companionship, encouragement, and emotional support
• Following individualized care plans
• Communicating effectively with families and our office team
• Completing accurate care documentation

We're looking for caregivers who have:

• Experience caring for individuals in a home, hospital or facility setting.
• Previous home care, assisted living, or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• A compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• The ability to work independently while delivering exceptional care
