Maintenance Technician - Luxury Apartments
Location:
Rocky River, OH
Base pay range: $20.00/yr - $24.00/yr
Banyan Living is a leading provider of luxury apartment homes in the greater Cleveland and Columbus metropolitan areas. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our enthusiastic team, committed to delivering top‑nith service and quality living environments for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine and emergency maintenance on apartment units and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
- Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and ensure timely and quality resolution
- Assist in preparing vacant units for new residents by completing necessary repairs and cleaning
- Maintain an organized inventory of maintenance supplies and tools
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and report any unsafe conditions
- Support the maintenance team as needed and contribute to team meetings
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-3 years of experience in property maintenance or a related field
- Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and basic HVAC maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to participate in on‑call maintenance rotations as required
