About the RoleThis internship provides experience in processing, auditing and analyzing data for HR and Payroll systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Provide clerical duties for the payroll department including auditing and filing.
- Process new garnishment orders and send payments.
- Assist with payroll processing duties including checking emails and voicemails.
- Process and post HR system reports, and provide an audit each pay period to ensure reports are posted timely.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by your direct manager.
- Follow company policies and procedures and support company mission, vision, values and standards of ethics.
- Daily attendance required to ensure all duties are completed in a timely fashion.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must meet the following requirements.
- High School diploma or GED; related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read, interpret, and write routine reports and correspondence; communicate effectively with associates, customers, and vendors both in person and via telephone.
- Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
- Strong data entry skills and accuracy.
- Ability to learn payroll software and use Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Strong organizational, planning and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical demands include occasional standing, walking, bending, lifting up to 10 pounds, and routine office tasks.
- Work schedule may include overtime or adjusted hours based on business demand.
- Work environment involves moderate office noise.
$15.00 per hour

InterviewProcess
Apprenticely will conduct an initial phone interview and assessment. Selected resumes will be sent to partner companies. The employer partners will decide who to interview and select the final candidates for the internship program.
