Job Summary
Automotive Body Technicians are responsible for making repairs to all assigned vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition in accordance with industry standards.
Responsibilities- Disassemble vehicles and related parts
- Perform body work in accordance with the repair plan
- Reassemble vehicles once all repairs are complete
- Communicate status clearly to body shop manager
- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
- Follow all company safety procedures
- High production capabilities
- Detail-oriented
- Repair or replace mechanical parts
- Perform structural repairs and/or replacement repairs
- Perform different types of sheet metal welding and metal finishing
- Re-assemble painted vehicle and painted parts
- Positive team‑player attitude with a desire to learn and succeed in the industry
- High‑school diploma (or equivalent) preferred
- Must be able to work independently without close supervision, and be flexible/adaptable to constant change
- Must have own tools
- Keep personal work area organized and clean
