Pay Range: USD $62,000 and $86,000 Yearly

The pay range is indicative of projected hiring range, however base pay will be determined based on a candidate's work location, skills and experience.

• The Opportunity: Mattel, Inc., the largest toy company in the world, is seeking a high-impact Sales Analyst to support the Walmart and  businesses. This role goes beyond traditional analytics—it is a business ownership role responsible for driving growth through data, insights, and proactive decision-making.
• Data, Analysis & Reporting: Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of market, consumer, and shopper data to increase category sales, improve customer satisfaction, and maximize ROI. Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting and continuously enhance recurring and ad hoc analyses.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain) to support long-term strategies and business planning; partner with Walmart and sales leads to maintain strong working relationships.
• Process Improvement: Streamline processes by creating standardized operating procedures and leveraging automation tools; stay current on industry trends.

• Develop Product Expertise: Build understanding of the product portfolio; analyze performance trends (sales volume, revenue, profitability across categories); manage catalog knowledge and be the primary contact for product details.
• Own the  Business: End-to-end ownership of  including item setup, forecasting, order recommendations, inventory management; develop POS plan and track YoY/QoQ; drive site execution through audits; identify risks and opportunities; translate performance data into actionable strategies; manage digital forecast; ensure OTIF fulfillment.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop weekly/monthly performance reports on KPIs; analyze market trends using tools (e.g., Walmart Scintilla, Tableau); build data-driven presentations for Walmart Merchants, Planners, and Replenishment Managers; support new product launches with performance tracking and recommendations.
• Demonstrated Analytics & Insights: Go beyond reporting with clear, actionable recommendations.

• 2-3 years of CPG analytics experience, including working with multiple data sources
• Highly self-motivated with a strong work ethic and sense of ownership
• Ability to thrive in a remote/hybrid team environment
• High level of integrity and attention to detail
• Strong sense of urgency and accountability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Proficiency with tools such as Scintilla, Retail Link, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Tableau, and NPD
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Proactive mindset with willingness to take on new challenges and respond well to direction
• Demonstrated interest and potential to build a career at Mattel
