Job Description
Customer Sales Analyst – Sams Club. Here at Kraft Heinz, our US Sales team aims to be an indispensable partner with a growth and winning mindset, focused on superior execution daily.
The Customer Sales Analyst (CSA) is a key internal sales position that delivers actionable business insights to support growth on the Sams Club team. The CSA steers data for sales planning, develops actionable insights, and improves sales value across all Kraft Heinz categories through data pulling, visualization, and analysis.
Additionally, the CSA ensures key routines are executed with excellence including line review organization, post‑event tracking, performance updates, and SOP development. The role collaborates cross‑functionally with marketing, finance, retail, and supply chain to ensure target delivery.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities- Utilize sales and consumer data to build presentations for internal and external audiences.
- Own routines to identify key volume drivers and communicate material needs.
- Develop impactful customer‑specific selling stories that reflect key category business‑building initiatives.
- Communicate actionable analysis and insights to support effective selling stories that solve consumer needs.
- Assist with regular category and business reviews with the field team to affect positive business growth.
- Ensure that the customer, consumer and category insights are delivered timely with full data accuracy.
- Analyze key merchandising events and provide actionable points of view on compliance, execution, consumption and value.
- Become or grow into a subject‑matter expert on storytelling, visualizations, data literacy, or analytical processes.
- Work with the Data & Analytics team on a feedback loop of business‑critical reporting and tool development.
- Experience with a corporate sales background and knowledge of business processes and category management.
- Ability to work within a Customer Business Team framework, applying a customer‑first mentality for effective customer management and proactivity to achieve objectives.
- Ability to plan, organize and communicate priorities to leadership.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Use and understanding of syndicated and panel data.
- Proven communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) for both internal and external outputs.
- Experience with Power BI development, including report and dashboard creation is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent collaboration skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Desire to expand capabilities with Circana, Numerator, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Adaptability to changing business requirements.
- Self‑starter – highly motivated and proactive approach to all tasks.
- Growth mindset with problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
This hybrid role requires a normal office environment with limited travel; 3 days per week in office. The position is salaried, exempt, and works on a schedule designed to meet customer and internal expectations.
Physical RequirementsOperate a computer and view screens for 100% of the work schedule.
