Category Manager – Walmart – Rogers, Arkansas – Hybrid (travel up to 10% of time).
As the Category Manager for Walmart, you will create and share compelling stories with customers, providing insight into how shopper behaviors influence our categories. You will serve as the category expert by delivering insight‑based engaging presentations, highlighting opportunities, and building thought leadership with customers. Your work includes new product introductions, pricing analyses, seasonal reviews and programs, promotional planning, consumer usage analyses, and evaluating the impact of assortment changes on category and brand growth.
You will apply category analysis, shopper insights and analytic tools to drive solutions for Colgate and our customers.
This is a hybrid role based out of Rogers, AR (Monday – Thursday in office).
Responsibilities- Prioritize and represent shopper needs in all strategic and tactical decision‑making.
- Utilize customer‑specific shopper behavior data and insights to develop and deliver actionable recommendations that drive category and Colgate solutions.
- Integrate and analyze multiple data sources, including shopper data, proprietary insights, and Point‑of‑Sale (POS) data, to formulate robust, customer‑specific recommendations.
- Effectively communicate complex data, insights, and shopper behavior findings through compelling, fact‑based narratives to influence customer and internal stakeholders.
- Act as a trusted consultant to the customer, building strong, collaborative partnerships founded on mutual trust and integrity; collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute strategies and achieve shared business objectives.
- Maintain curiosity to proactively seek opportunities for improvement, analyze results to determine root causes of performance, and guide the team with data‑driven insights.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 3+ years of consumer product sales or category management experience, or other relevant sales/marketing experience.
- 2+ years analyzing syndicated data (Nielsen, IRI).
- Experience working with retailer POS data.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets and Slides. - Availability to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Experience with customer shopper behavior data (Scintilla, Dunnhumby, Extra Care, 1010, etc.).
- Experience with household panel data (Numerator, Nielsen Panel, etc.).
- JDA or other space‑planning experience.
- Experience in consumer product goods.
Salary Range: $97,000.00 – $ USD.

Employees receive a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays.
