Sales Analyst

Nestlé Purina is seeking a Sales Analyst to support our manufacturing-based pet care business in St. Louis, MO. In this role, you will turn complex sales, customer, and channel data into clear insights that drive revenue growth and smarter decisions. You will build and maintain dashboards and reports, support forecasting and demand planning, and evaluate promotions, pricing, and customer programs. Partnering with sales, marketing, and supply chain, you'll help optimize product mix and performance while working in a collaborative, pet-centric culture focused on innovation, sustainability, and improving the lives of pets and people.

Responsibilities

• Collect, validate, and analyze sales data across products, channels, and regions to identify trends and growth opportunities.
• Develop recurring and ad hoc sales performance dashboards and reports for sales, finance, and leadership teams.
• Support sales forecasting, demand planning, and target setting using historical data and market insights.
• Partner with sales, marketing, and supply chain to evaluate promotions, pricing, and customer programs.
• Provide actionable recommendations to improve revenue, margin, and portfolio mix in the manufacturing environment.
• Monitor KPIs, explain variances vs. targets, and prepare presentations for leadership reviews.
• Leverage BI tools and advanced Excel to automate reporting and improve data accessibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in a pet-centric, innovative culture to drive continuous improvement.
