We are looking to hire a Sales Analyst immediately in a Hybrid (50/50) capacity at our Sales Office in Rogers, AR.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This Category Analyst is a resource to provide in-depth analysis to determine category strategy and opportunities. The successful candidate will support the Category Advisor in all functions of the category management process. This includes development and execution of category reviews, shelving and modular plans, and consumer insights. This new hire will work in McCormick’s Walmart / Sam’s Club support team, located in Rogers, AR.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide detailed category and brand insight.
  • Regular business performance reporting.
  • Assist with development and implementation of assortment, merchandising and pricing recommendations.
  • Category Team analytical support.
  • Provide market insights through the collection of relevant local and global market trends and shopper research techniques.
  • Planogram strategy development, drawing, and execution.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Management or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in a Sales, Marketing or Analyst role
  • Must have demonstrated skills working on projects and analytic analysis, including brand insight and category planogram design
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, Power Point, and Word
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Must be self-motivated, possess excellent communication and organization skills, project a professional image, and interact effectively with all levels within the organization
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to analyze and understand the data and then effectively communicate those insights to both internal and external audiences
  • Must be willing to travel several times per year
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with JDA Space Planning would be a plus
  • Experience working with Retailer specific data (Scintilla) and Syndicated Data (Nielsen/Circana)

Base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, experience for this role, and/or internal equity of our current employees as part of any final offer. This position is also eligible to participate in McCormick’s Incentive Bonus (MIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Sales Incentive Bonus (SIB) Plan/ McCormick’s Dividend Program .
