Job Details

Are you a seasoned construction professional with a knack for effective project management and a keen eye for quality control? We are currently seeking a Permanent Superintendent with a strong background in the construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all stages of project life cycles, from planning and development to execution and completion. You will be expected to manage a variety of tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, safety management, and subcontractor management.

This position requires a hands‑on approach, and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope.

Supervise all construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.

Develop comprehensive project schedules, coordinate with subcontractors, and manage all construction processes.

Prepare and manage project budgets, control project costs, and ensure financial accountability.

Implement and oversee safety protocols, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure all work is carried out in compliance with local and national safety regulations.

Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and staff, ensuring clear communication and efficient collaboration.

Resolve any issues or delays that may impact project timelines, budgets, or quality of work.

Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to plans and specifications.

Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of experience in a superintendent role in the construction industry.

Proven experience in construction project management, budgeting, scheduling, safety management, and subcontractor management.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, quality control measures, and safety regulations.

Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team to achieve project goals.

Excellent problem‑solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they arise.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, subcontractors, and staff.

Proficiency in project management software and tools.

A degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
