Dental Hygiene Assistant
Wisener, Cooper & Fergus Family Dentistry in Rogers, AR is looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Hygiene Assistant to join our team!
Our busy hygiene department is growing, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while helping provide exceptional patient care. This position works directly alongside our dental hygienist to keep appointments running smoothly during a double-booked hygiene schedule.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat patients
- Review and update medical histories
- Take digital X-rays
- Set up and break down treatment rooms
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control standards
- Chart findings as directed
- Assist with patient education
- Apply fluoride and perform expanded duties as permitted by Arkansas regulations and credentials
- Help create an efficient, comfortable experience for every patient
Qualifications
- Dental assisting experience preferred
- X-ray certification required
- Expanded Functions certification is a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Positive attitude with a strong work ethic
- Ability to multitask in a busy, team-oriented practice
