Youth Cheer Coach – Kansas City Metro Area
Part‑time position, one evening per week (consistent day of the week), coaching three age‑groups of students (ages 4‑15).
Responsibilities include:
- Preparing practice lessons and lesson plans.
- Teaching students cheerleading and dance fundamentals safely and effectively.
- Overseeing practice check‑ins.
- Choreographing dance routines and performance cheers per team level.
- Teaching stunting fundamentals and execution.
- Basic record‑keeping.
- Participating in three or four paid weekend events each semester.
Requirements:
- Previous cheerleading experience.
- Experience teaching children and choreographing routines.
- 18 years or older.
- Reliable transportation.
- Enthusiastic, positive role‑model.
Paid training sessions cover organization teaching guidelines, records, and assistance from a veteran coach.
Ideal for college students, moms, and former cheerleaders with an established career.
