Early Head Start Teacher

Overview

Arkansas Early Learning (AEL) provides free early childhood education and family support services to vulnerable children ages birth to five across Arkansas through Early Head Start and Head Start. We are currently seeking an Early Head Start (EHS) Teacher to work in a child‑centered setting and support infants and toddlers in their development.

The EHS Teacher will:

• Utilize indoor and outdoor environments to create enriching learning opportunities that build on daily routines and support each child's individual development.
• Skillfully and intentionally create a bond of care, enabling infants and toddlers to learn and develop appropriately.
• Implement the program curriculum and documentation requirements in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with families to support their children’s growth and well‑being.

Education and/or experience:

• Infant/Toddler early childhood educator credential (CDA) or
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education,
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in any field willing to obtain an Infant and Toddler Development certificate, for which AEL will provide a 1‑2 week training course.
