Head Start Assistant Teacher

The Head Start Program Assistant will work to ensure comprehensive Head Start services are provided to children and families enrolled in the program. This position will utilize the Center environment to assist staff with creating rich learning opportunities that build on daily routines and support each child's development and education. The position is full time, nine months of the year, with furlough from May to August.

• 18 years old or older
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
• Current Pre‑K CDA or willing to obtain through our program at no cost within 2 years
• Enrolled in a program leading to an Associate or Baccalaureate in Early Childhood Education
