Overview
The Career Placement Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing the career development programs and services for students and alumni. This position involves providing individualized career counseling, organizing career-related events, and developing partnerships with employers to facilitate job placements and internships. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a passion for helping students succeed, and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic educational environment.
Qualifications- Education:
Bachelor’s Degree Required - Experience:
Previous experience in career services, human resources, or a related area is advantageous. - Skills/Knowledge:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, employers, and colleagues.
- Familiarity with job placement software and tools.
- Excellent organizational and administrative abilities to manage multiple tasks and maintain records.
- Proficiency in career counseling techniques and knowledge of job market trends.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Professional use of social media platforms.
Minimum Salary or Salary Range: $38,000-$40,000
