Permitting Specialist - Experienced Level

• High school diploma or GED
• 1+ years of work experience in permitting commercial projects
• 1+ years work experience in an office environment
• 3+ years experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Degree in Business, Construction, Architecture or Engineering or related field
• Applicable work experience in an architectural and engineering firm
• Knowledge of Bluebeam, Smartsheets, Excel
• Basic understanding of Accessibility, Building, Mechanical and Electrical code
• Knowledge of the construction process and methods

The Permitting Specialist works to perform administrative activities required to support multiple types of projects in multiple programs. This position is responsible for researching and coordinating the permit and code requirements of specific projects with program teams, clients, and municipalities.
