An established and growing engineering design firm is seeking a Licensed Professional Civil Engineer (PE) to join its Rogers, AR office. This position is ideal for a self-motivated engineer with at least 5 years of experience in site development, land development, or municipal infrastructure projects.
As a lead engineer, you will plan, develop, and manage engineering projects of varying size and complexity, while collaborating with clients and guiding junior staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage civil engineering projects from concept through construction.
- Develop and review site development plans, grading, drainage, and utility layouts.
- Provide oversight on municipal infrastructure designs.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and project stakeholders.
- Oversee junior team members and provide technical mentorship.
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and profitability.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (Masters degree is a plus)
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Arkansas, or eligible via comity
- 5+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- Experience in site development, land development, or public infrastructure projects
- Proficient in engineering principles, systems, and construction practices
- Familiarity with Civil 3D or similar CAD/design tools is a plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
