** Position Overview*
* We are seeking a  
** Junior Materials Engineer
** to join a growing engineering team in  
** Rogers, Arkansas** . This is a  
** 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity
** offering  
** full benefits from day one** . This role is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to gain hands-on experience with materials selection, testing, product development, and manufacturing support in a collaborative environment.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States  
** without current or future sponsorship** .

** Responsibilities*
* + Assist in the evaluation, testing, and selection of engineering materials for new and existing products.

+ Perform laboratory testing and analyze material properties, performance, and failure modes.

+ Support root cause investigations and failure analysis for manufacturing and field issues.

+ Collaborate with Design, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supplier teams to improve product performance and reliability.

+ Prepare technical reports, test documentation, and engineering recommendations.

+ Assist with qualification and validation of new materials and manufacturing processes.

+ Review engineering drawings, specifications, and material standards.

+ Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and quality procedures.

+ Participate in continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality and manufacturing efficiency.

** Qualifications*
* + Bachelor's degree in  
** Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering** , or a related engineering discipline.

+ 0-3 years of engineering experience (internships and co-op experience are welcomed).

+ Understanding of material properties including metals, polymers, ceramics, or composites.

+ Familiarity with laboratory testing methods and engineering documentation.

+ Ability to analyze technical data and solve engineering problems.

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills.

+ Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with CAD software or materials testing equipment is a plus.

** Preferred Qualifications*
* + Internship or co-op experience in manufacturing or product development.

+ Exposure to failure analysis or root cause investigation.

+ Knowledge of ASTM, ISO, or other engineering standards.

+ Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
