Plumbing Designer

Location:

Rogers, Arkansas

As part of the Buildings Group for Garver, this Plumbing Designer will develop plumbing designs in support of various Buildings Business Line projects. Responsibilities include designing and developing building domestic water systems, sanitary sewer systems, roof/storm drain systems, and coordinating with other support disciplines and regional offices. The role also involves assisting engineers with plumbing system design and following quality assurance and quality control plans.

  • Design and develop building domestic water systems.
  • Design and develop building sanitary sewer systems.
  • Design and develop building roof/storm drain systems.
  • Coordinate with support disciplines and regional offices.
  • Assist engineers in plumbing system design.
  • Follow quality assurance and quality control plans.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of building plumbing system design and construction experience.
  • Knowledge of building plumbing system principles and design concepts.
  • Proven experience with plumbing system designs, including detailed plans and specifications for building projects.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Experience with Autodesk Revit and proficiency with MS Office Suite.
  • Experience utilizing BIM design software and software-based calculation tools.
  • Ability to manage project budget and schedule compliance.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments concurrently and ensure time management and product quality.
  • Commitment to continuing education and learning based on project needs.
Preferred Skills
  • Medical gas system design experience.
  • PETROLEUM, oil, and lubricating (POL) design experience.
  • Food service plumbing systems design experience.
  • Fire sprinkler system design experience.
  • Experience with AIA Master Spec.
