Permitting Specialist - Experienced Level

Must have all the following:

• High school diploma or GED and 1 year of work experience in an office environment
• 3 years' experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
• 1 year of applicable work experience in permitting commercial projects.

• Bachelors degree in Business, Construction, Architecture, Engineering or related field.
• Applicable work experience in an Architectural or Engineering firm.
• Knowledge of Bluebeam or Smartsheets.
• Able to understand and explain a project's scope of work.
• 2 or more years of applicable work experience in permitting.
• Experience working directly with clients.

The Permitting Specialist works to perform high level administrative activities required to support multiple types of projects in multiple programs. This position is responsible for researching and coordinating the permit and code requirements of specific projects with program teams, clients, and municipalities.
