Overview
Data Entry Specialist
Location:
Monroe, LA (On-Site)
Duration: 6 Month Contract Pay: $18-20/hr W2 Strategic Staffing Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist with hands-on experience using the Facets system. This role is essential to maintaining the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of healthcare and claims data across multiple operational workflows. The ideal candidate will bring proven data entry skills, knowledge of healthcare processes, and familiarity with member enrollment, provider data, billing, or claims within Facets.
- Accurately enter and update member, provider, and claims data into Facets and related systems.
- Review source documentation for completeness and accuracy before processing.
- Conduct data audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Partner with departments (Claims, Provider Services, Enrollment, IT) to resolve data inconsistencies and system errors.
- Support enrollment processing, claims review, billing adjustments, and provider record updates.
- Assist with batch uploads, form processing, and data migration projects.
- Track documentation related to corrections and workflow resolutions.
- Meet or exceed productivity and accuracy targets.
- High School diploma or GED required;
Associate degree preferred. - 1 2 years of hands-on Facets experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims processing.
- Minimum typing speed of 9,000 KPH with high accuracy.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare terminology, billing, claims, and enrollment processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive data.
- Capable of working both independently and in team environments.
- Experience with other healthcare systems (e.g., QNXT, Epic, CMS platforms).
- Prior experience in a Blue Plan or health insurance organization.
- Exposure to open enrollment cycles or large-scale data migrations.
